The Rabbit and Carrot story

How Did Rabbits Start Eating Carrots

Mamma Rabbit and Pappa Rabbit loved their baby Rabbit. Pappa Rabbit was an engineer and Mamma Rabbit was a School teacher. Pappa Rabbit built beautiful and cozy burrows. He sold some of the burrows to other rabbits. Baby Rabbit’s burrow, where he lived with his Mamma and Pappa was the best. Every morning Mamma Rabbit made breakfast. It was mainly cabbage. For lunch they had potatoes and dinner was wild berries. Mamma, Papa, and Baby Rabbit always had their meals together. Be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Mamma Rabbit taught the baby rabbits of the neighbourhood, how to hop, and eat. How to read and how to escape from enemies like foxes.

Baby Rabbit loved to read. He read about the history of the rabbit civilization, where the first rabbit came from, and how the rabbits colonized the different continents of the world.

When baby rabbit was not reading he watched television. He spent the whole day reading and watching television. His eyes strained from the effort and became red and swollen.

Mamma and Pappa Rabbit took him to Doctor Rabbit. Doctor rabbit examined his vision. He watched his retina through the computerized eye testing. Doctor made him read the vision chart.

Finally Doctor Rabbit nodded wisely and said, “You have to play, and burrow and hop around. Do not be a couch potato. Most of all you should eat carrots every day. They are good for the eyes.”

From that day Mamma Rabbit, Pappa Rabit and Baby Rabbit, began to eat carrots. Mamma Rabbit made carrot cakes, carrot halwa, carrot pie, carrot milkshake, carrot ice cream, carrot burger, and lots more. She shared the recipes with other Rabbit Mammas.

That Is How Rabbits Started Eating Carrots.
